The government in place today is modeled after the governments of the western world.

The limited resources have caused Hungary problems in the past in the production of products such as motor vehicles. Hungary has tried to increase production since leaving Soviet control.
On the agricultural front, Hungary produces wheat, corn, sunflower seed, potatoes, sugar beets, pigs, poultry, and dairy products. Hungary does not export these products. Instead, the country is trying to improve its pharmaceutical industry for exportation.
