CHECK-IN & ORIENTATION CALENDAR
SPRING 2010 CHECK-IN
All new and transfer nonimmigrant international students must check-in at the Office of International Affairs.
January 6 and 7, 2010 from 8:30 a.m. -4:30 p.m.
Students and their dependents arriving for check-in must bring the following documents:
- Passport
- I-94 departure record card
- I-20 form or DS-2019 form
- If transferring from another school in the U.S., all previously issued I-20 forms or DS-2019 forms
SPRING 2010 INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ORIENTATION
January 8, 2010
The orientation allows Texas Tech University and the ISSS to welcome you. Topics discussed include immigration laws, registration, student services, U.S. taxes and tax reporting, health care, U.S. laws, culture, education and safety. All new and transfer students must attend. The Orientation will be held in the Auditorium of the International Cultural Center.
