Good Neighbor Scholarship 2008-2009 Program

Provides for out of state tuition waiver for citizens born in and at least a five-year current resident of a politically independent nation in the western hemisphere (excluding Cuba and the United States); student must be unconditionally admitted to Texas Tech University and intending to enroll for the upcoming Fall 2008 Semester; or enrolled full-time maintaining satisfactory academic progress; student should be planning on returning to country of origin upon successful completion of the academic program. Students cannot be receiving an out of state waiver from any other scholarship.


The deadline for applying for the Good Neighbor Scholarship for the 2008-2009 academic year has passed.  The GNS application for the 2009-2010 academic year will be available around the third week of January 2009.
