Good Neighbor Scholarship 2009-2010 Program
Provides for out of state tuition waiver for citizens born in and at least a five-year current resident of a politically independent nation in the western hemisphere (excluding Cuba and the United States); student must be unconditionally admitted to Texas Tech University and intending to enroll for the upcoming Fall 2009 Semester; or enrolled full-time maintaining satisfactory academic progress; student should be planning on returning to country of origin upon successful completion of the academic program. Students cannot be receiving an out of state waiver from any other scholarship.
The deadline for applying for the Good Neighbor Scholarship for the 2009-2010 academic year has passed. GNS applications for the upcoming 2010-2011 academic year will be available the third week in January 2010 when information on the scholarship application is received from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board in Austin, TX.
